I only ever got one thing that wasn't what I thought it was. When buying from eBay, I look for good reputations (99.5%+) from sellers of a large quantity (1000+) of goods. Buying from eBay, or the likes, you run the risk of getting non-genuine article. Where did you buy it? In other words, are you sure your new FSX Gold Edition is an original (authentic) one? I ask because there is a lot of fake FSX Gold Edition to sell online.

The first two disks install FSX the third is supposed to install the Expansion Pack I have no F-18 in my aircraft inventory. The Accelerated Expansion Pack disk is the 3rd of 3 disks of the Microsoft FSX Gold Edition which I purchased. XLoad needs the Expansion Pack installed to operate properly, I would love to hear from Captain Sim if he has some sort of FSX Expansion Pack download that will work, or some other workaround!! I realize this is an older program that I am trying to install on an older computer that operates on a newer operating system - Windows 7. Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Any suggestions? Is there an FSX Expansion Pack that will install on my computer? HELP!!! I have used the Microsoft FixIts to try to resolve it - nothing works. I get this installation message that flashes, goes away and then nothing. I have done everything, clean-boots, compatibility runs, you name it - it just won't install. Please can someone help me with a fix for this problem, I have been using MS Flight Simulator since 1983 and it is the only game I play every day.I cannot get my FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack installed on my Windows 7 32bit computer! FSX goes on fine but not X Pack. In your opinion may I just copy that directory (I called it and installed in C:/FSX SDK) to my FSX:SE machine (server) simply copy that directory or tell ADEX where to pickup the SKD directory (via network obviuosly) or is better to install SDK in ther server machine where FSX:SE is. I have another PC that is only 13 months old with Windows 10 and FSX and Acceleration installed fine with no problems. So I tried to install on my second pc (client) the FSX SDK for Acceleration (7). It appears that FSC Acceleration cannot be loaded on a new PC on Windows 10.
I tried repairing Acceleration, uninstalling and reinstalling as Administrator, and even used a second FSX and Acceleration program that I purchased as a backup. Our intentions are not to harm Microsoft software company but to give the possibility to those who can not pay for any piece of software out there.

I am apprehensive of altering or changing my registry since it is a new PC. The serial number for Microsoft is available. I have been reading the MS support forums and articles along with dozens of FSX support sites with no luck. When I started FSX program, I received error code 1-80004005, product activation error. When I installed FSX Acceleration I did not FSX installed and the activation had to be completed by the Phone Activation and FSX loaded and ran with no errors. I had to reload FSX and FSX Acceleration on a new PC.
I have the same problem Joe stated above.
